BALTIC 60-001 SUD
The Baltic 60 SUD, designed by Judel/Vrolijk and built by Baltic Yachts, is an authentic cruiser-racer born to combine high sailing performance and fast cruising.
Delivered in 2005, SUD features a sophisticated carbon and epoxy construction, sleek waterlines and a configuration originally developed to be competitive in both IMS and IRC. With its 18 meters in length, it well represents the Baltic philosophy: lightness, build quality and performance without sacrificing functionality when cruising.
Between 2023 and 2025, SUD underwent a major refit and upgrade program. Key features include the new 110 hp Yanmar 4JH110CR engine with SD15 saildrive, upgrades to B&G electronics, overhaul of the systems, maintenance of the original Baltic teak, repainted mast and new upholstery.
The sail equipment includes North Sails 3Di Endurance mainsail, 3DL jib and gennaker, flanked by carbon equipment and Harken Racing electric winches.
The interiors maintain the second soul of the project: a bright dinette, L-shaped galley, comfortable guest accommodation and a spacious owner's cabin in the bow with bathroom and separate shower.
